In 2008, Zhangzhuang “traditional cotton textile technology” was included in the national intangible cultural heritage protection list.

How can a cooperative in a village drive the surrounding villagers to get rich? According to Yuan Jingguo, the cooperative now has three modes: “working mode”, which provides cotton, weaving machines, weaving technology, workplaces, and farmers to fixed sites to produce soil. Weaving, earning processing fees; "small farmer mode", after the farmers have passed the training, they buy cotton thread from the cooperative and use their own weaving equipment to engage in production and sales activities; "lease model", the farmers are engaged in production at the cooperative, paying After a certain fee, take the products you produce and bring them home for sale.
 
Nowadays, with the development of cooperatives, not only traditional textile techniques can be protected, but also play a role in poverty alleviation. Yuan Jingguo said that most of the villages are left behind women and they have learned textile technology. They care for both the family and the income. According to statistics, by leveraging traditional textile skills, more than 2,000 local farmers have stepped onto the road to prosperity, and more than 400 people have been lifted out of poverty.
